An brown-phase black bear (ursus americanus) cub clings to the top of a spruce tree in high winds in Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada. The young-of-this-year cub and his two siblings had all taken to trees when a large boar came into their territory. You can almost see the worry in the cub’s expression as he looks for his mom. This little guy had climbed so high he was swinging like a pendulum in the 80km winds!
